Still Here.
Probably.
Your cat is not a witness. Tap once to confirm you're OK, on your own schedule. Go quiet, and your Body Retrieval Squad gets told — before the houseplants do.

Not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number.

Features
Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Simple enough to tap half-asleep. Serious about the one job it has: being the reason somebody knocks on your door.
One-Tap Check-In
One button. One tap. The lowest-effort way ever invented to prove you're still a going concern — then straight back to whatever you were doing.
AFK Timer
Choose how long you can go silent: anywhere from 1 to 30 days, plus a grace period before anyone is bothered.
Body Retrieval Squad
The people who'd actually come round. Emergency contacts get a text or email if you go quiet; friends with the app can watch you using your 8-character invite code.
Escalating Alerts
Reminder → warning → alert. You get a nudge first. Your squad only hears about it if you stay quiet.
"Check On" & Reactions
Watchers can check on you. Reply with a reaction like 👌 😴 🤕, or tap "I need help" so they know to act.
Final Note
Your WiFi password should not outlive you. A PIN-locked note for a watcher — spare key, cat's feeding schedule, which neighbour has the parcel — released only under strict conditions (see the FAQ).
Survival Streak & 13 Languages
The one streak where breaking it has consequences beyond a sad push notification. Track it in 13 languages, so you can be quietly smug internationally.
How It Works
Three steps to
not going unnoticed.
About as much effort as watering a plant. Slightly higher stakes if you forget.
-
Set your timer
Choose how often you need to check in, from every day to every 30 days, and add a grace period that matches your level of recklessness.
-
Recruit your squad
Pick the people who'd come round, not the ones who'd leave you on read. Emergency contacts get a text or email; friends with the app can join using your invite code.
-
Stay alive (ideally)
Tap the button before your timer runs out. If you don't, you get reminded first. If you still don't, your squad is told so they can check on you.
The App
Minimal.
On purpose.
Designed for one thumb, at 3am, in the dark, with one eye open — because that is when you'll actually remember.
Home
One button to confirm you're OK, a survival streak to defend, and the date of your last confirmed sign of life.
Squad
Your Body Retrieval Squad. The most flattering invitation you will ever send someone.
Settings
Your AFK timer, your contacts, and the note you'd leave behind. Five minutes of admin, so nobody has to guess.
Alerts
Notifications that
actually matter.
You get reminders by push, email or SMS. Emergency contacts get a text or email. Watchers get notified in the app. Example messages below.
Reminder Your check-in is due
Still alive? Tap to confirm.
Warning Still no response
You haven't checked in for 2 days. Tap to let your circle know you're okay.
Squad Alerted Your contacts receive
Sam hasn't checked in for 2 days and may need you to check on them. This is not an emergency service.
Reactions
Too lazy to type?
Just react.
When someone in your squad checks on you, one tap is a full sentence. 👌 means "alive, busy, stop worrying". And if things genuinely aren't fine, "I need help" tells them to act.
- I'm okay
- Resting
- Unwell
- Studying
- Meditating
- Working
- Exercising
- I need help
FAQ
Questions from the
still-living.
The branding is a funeral; the function is a doorbell. Lots of people live alone, travel solo, or can go days without a single person expecting to hear from them. Last Seen makes sure someone you chose finds out if you go quiet. The jokes are free.
No. We never contact the police, ambulance or any authority. We only notify the contacts and watchers you chose, and messages can be delayed or fail. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number.
Once your timer and grace period run out, you get a reminder, then a warning. If you still don't check in, your emergency contacts are texted or emailed and your watchers are notified. Checking in at any point stops it.
You lock it with a PIN. It can only be released to a watcher if you are at least 6 hours overdue, that watcher requests it, and you still don't check in within 24 hours of the request. Checking in cancels the request.
Your final note is encrypted on our servers with AES-256-GCM. That is server-side encryption, not end-to-end, so please don't store anything you couldn't afford to have exposed. You can delete your account and data from the app. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Anywhere with a browser — the web app works today, in 13 languages, on a phone that is already in your hand. The iOS and Android apps are built and sitting in store review, which is its own form of purgatory; leave your email below and you'll get the link the day they land. You must be 16 or older to use Last Seen.
Then your squad hears from us and you get a slightly awkward phone call. That is the system working, not failing. Set a timer and grace period long enough for your actual life, and check in as soon as you can — a false alarm costs your friends five minutes and you a bit of dignity.
